Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, safety programs, and quality control efforts.
  • Coordinate daily field operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, and trade partners.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive successful execution of retail remodels, expansions, open-store renovations, and ground-up developments

The Successful Applicant

  • A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
  • Can be based anywhere in the southeast
  • Strong construction experience, including Big box remodel and or ground-up construction
  • Experience managing projects typically valued between $3 million and $10 million.
  • Exposure to projects for national retail brands and large-format retail environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned regions, including the Southeast, Midwest, or Northeast.
  • Excellent leadership, scheduling, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety, project sequencing, and quality control.
  • Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software.
