Job Description

  • Lead all onsite construction activities and day-to-day field operations.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners to ensure project success.
  • Drive schedule adherence and proactively resolve field challenges.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, and design teams.
  • Conduct site meetings, progress reporting, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent leading large-scale ground-up commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Experience with warehouses, distribution centers, light industrial facilities, tilt-wall construction, manufacturing, or mission critical/data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety programs, quality control, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to travel nationwide and work on long-term project assignments.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $100 million or greater is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.

What's on Offer

  • Base Salary: $130,000 - $155,000
  • Estimated Discretionary Bonus: Approximately 10%
  • Travel Incentive: Additional 10% of base salary
  • Mission Critical/Data Center Incentive: Additional 10% of base salary

  • Per Diem: Approximately $51,240 annually
  • Travel Home Allowance: $1,000 per month
