Job Description

  • Lead all onsite construction activities for mission critical/data center projects from mobilization through turnover.
  • Manage daily field operations while ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with project management teams and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved.
  • Conduct regular site meetings, safety briefings, and progress reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety programs, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Monitor project milestones, identify potential schedule impacts, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, shop drawings, and RFIs to proactively resolve field issues.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and turnover procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship while ensuring compliance with quality control processes.
  • Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment utilization, and workforce planning.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, consultants, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership teams.
  • Support project teams in achieving budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Travel nationally and work on extended assignments as required by project needs.

The Successful Applicant



The ideal candidate is an experienced construction Superintendent with a proven track record delivering mission critical projects, including hyperscale data centers, colocation facilities, or other highly technical infrastructure projects. They possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to project execution.

Qualifications and experience include:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, or mission critical construction projects.
  • Direct experience leading field operations on data center projects is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and mission critical construction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex project activities.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, quality control, and safety management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced project environments.
  • Proficiency with construction management technology and reporting tools.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide and work at project locations for extended periods.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams and build positive working relationships.
