A nationally recognized developer and construction organization is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up light industrial projects throughout the Southeast, with the majority of upcoming work concentrated in Georgia and Tennessee.This opportunity is ideal for a Superintendent with a strong background in tilt-wall, warehouse, distribution, and light industrial construction who is comfortable traveling and taking full ownership of field operations.

About Our Client

A nationally recognized developer and builder, best known for its significant footprint in the multifamily market, with an established and growing light industrial/logistics division. The team is looking to further expand its industrial presence across the Atlanta and Southeast markets and is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to help deliver upcoming projects and play a key role in continuing to build out this division.

Job Description

  • Lead all field operations for ground-up light industrial and tilt-wall projects
  • Manage projects from sitework and foundations through closeout and turnover
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, manpower, equipment, and site logistics
  • Own short-term schedules and ensure key project milestones are achieved
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and jobsite productivity
  • Work closely with Project Managers and project leadership
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues
  • Travel throughout the Southeast, primarily Georgia and Tennessee

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up construction
  • Strong light industrial, warehouse, distribution, and/or tilt-wall experience
  • Experience independently leading field operations
  • Strong understanding of tilt-wall sequencing, site logistics, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Stable project history with proven ground-up project delivery
