Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and maintain short-term schedules and look-ahead plans
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Coordinate work in active and occupied healthcare environments while minimizing disruptions to operations
  • Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, healthcare construction regulations, and project-specific safety protocols
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents for field execution
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and resolve field issues that impact project schedules, quality, or safety
  • Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, healthcare stakeholders, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead punch list, commissioning, and closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

  • 5=3+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience leading healthcare construction projects
  • Experience working in occupied and operational healthcare facilities strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of ICRA protocols, healthcare compliance requirements, and infection control measures preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex project logistics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
