Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up church and K-12 education projects
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
  • Develop and maintain short-term schedules and three-week look-ahead plans
  • Drive project milestones to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within quality standards
  • Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety requirements
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with local authorities and project stakeholders
  • Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate field execution
  • Identify and resolve field issues that could impact schedule, budget, or quality
  • Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project closeout efforts

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience leading ground-up construction projects
  • K-12, higher education, church, municipal, institutional, or public-sector project experience preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast on a project basis
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trade partners
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong understanding of construction safety programs and OSHA standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
