Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead multifamily projects throughout the country.Job DescriptionLead all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects from mobilization through final completion and turnover.Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress, workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Consultants throughout the construction lifecycle.Oversee site logistics, manpower planning, material deliveries, and sequencing of work activities.Lead subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and coordination meetings to maintain alignment across project teams.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and applicable building codes.Review construction documents, drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch list items.Monitor quality control processes and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high construction standards.Manage inspections, testing requirements, certificate of occupancy milestones, and project closeout activities.Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and documentation throughout the project duration.Travel nationally and relocate to project locations as required to support successful project execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. They possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach. Qualifications include:8+ years of superintendent experience on commercial or multifamily construction projects.Extensive experience leading ground-up multifamily developments from start to finish.Demonstrated success managing projects ranging from $20M to $100M+.Strong knowledge of multifamily construction methods, sequencing, building systems, and best practices.Experience coordinating sitework, foundations, structural systems, building envelope, MEP systems, interior finishes, and project closeout.Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain aggressive construction schedules.Thorough understanding of construction documentation, safety regulations, and quality control processes.Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.Willingness and ability to travel nationally and remain on-site for the duration of assigned projects.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience.
