Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

  • Leading day-to-day field operations and supervising subcontractors
  • Enforcing safety protocols and conducting daily site safety walks
  • Coordinating logistics, deliveries, and manpower on site
  • Conducting subcontractor meetings, daily huddles, and maintaining project schedule
  • Overseeing site setup, security, and cleanliness
  • Managing documentation: daily reports, inspections, permits, RFIs, and as-builts
  • Communicating effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams
  • Mentoring field staff and promoting a collaborative, safety-first culture

The Successful Applicant

The right Superintendent has the following qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work at various project sites nationwide
  • 3-5+ years as a Superintendent with a GC
  • Large ground up project experience (ideally $20M+)
  • Open to any project types (lifescience, lab, healthcare, MEP) clean room experience is a plus
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • Builders License (any state), Bachelors degree, Trade License - is a plus
  • Software: Procore, MS Suite, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 experience
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to travel frequently and work nights/weekends as needed

  • Base salary up to $160K
  • Annual Bonus
  • Travel Expenses covered, $50 a day per diem, $150 out of town pay weekly ALLOWANCE
  • Paid Housing (apartment)
  • Vehicle allowance (starts around $350-$400/m - flexible for more experience)

  • Overtime compensated time & half
