Job Description

  • Lead all on-site operations for retail, grocery, and big-box commercial projects
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and project execution
  • Coordinate directly with Project Managers and clients throughout construction
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget expectations
  • Travel regionally Monday through Friday while maintaining strong site leadership

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of Lead Superintendent experience with a general contractor
  • Background delivering ground-up retail, grocery, or big-box commercial projects
  • Experience with projects such as grocery stores, retail renovations, or national rollouts preferred
  • Team-oriented leader with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout NC, SC, and Southern VA
