Seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects throughout the Southeast. This role is responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring quality and safety standards, and successfully delivering projects from groundbreaking through completion. Ideal candidates will have experience in both Retail and MOB construction environments.

About Our Client

Client is a strong commercial construction general contractor that is continuing to expand their Retail and MOB construction division.

Job Description

  • Manage on-site construction activities and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and project managers.
  • Resolve on-site issues and address any unforeseen challenges effectively.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports.
  • Travel as required to assigned project locations throughout the United States

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent - Retail & Mob should have:

  • Experience with managing construction projects in retail or medical office building environments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work on-site at various locations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
