The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for overseeing ground-up and renovation projects throughout the Southeast, with a focus on QSR, gas station/convenience store, and restaurant construction. This role manages all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Client is a strong commercial construction general contractor that is continuing to expand their retail, QSR, and restaurant construction division.

Job Description

  • Travel as required to assigned project locations throughout the United States
  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to meet project timelines.
  • Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and management.
  • Identify and resolve any on-site challenges efficiently.
  • Maintain quality control standards throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.

  • Experience with managing construction projects, particularly in the Southeast region.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.

  • Flexibility to travel extensively for project oversight.
  • Ability to travel extensively and relocate temporarily based on project assignments
