Job Description

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Manage daily field operations, including subcontractor coordination and scheduling
  • Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines
  • Lead site meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors
  • Maintain strong relationships with high-quality subcontractor partners
  • Monitor project milestones and ensure alignment with overall schedule and budget
  • Proactively communicate with leadership
  • Support and mentor junior team members on project execution and problem-solving

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Minimum of 3 years with current employer, demonstrating stability and long-term commitment
  • Experience delivering at least 5 ground-up restaurant projects from start to finish
  • Ground-up convenience store and/or gas station experience is highly preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast region
  • Strong ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality on fast-paced ground-up projects
