Job Description

  • Manage daily onsite construction activities across multiple project assignments
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project logistics
  • Maintain project schedules and drive milestone completion
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion
  • Communicate project progress with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Lead site teams to deliver successful ground-up and renovation projects within active retail environments

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • Proven Superintendent experience within commercial construction
  • Background delivering quick service restaurant, convenience store, fuel station, retail, or restaurant projects
  • Experience managing fast-track construction schedules
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and subcontractor management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Proficiency with construction scheduling and project documentation software
