Job Description

  • Lead daily field operations on large-scale commercial, industrial, warehouse, logistics, and distribution center construction projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Drive project execution from site mobilization through completion on ground-up construction projects.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving field issues.
  • Enforce company and project-specific safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, field leadership, and client representatives.
  • Support implementation of Lean Construction and Pull Planning methodologies when applicable.
  • Initially support a major distribution center project in Utah before transitioning to future assignments in California and other locations.
  • Ensure construction activities meet client expectations, contract requirements, and company standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to field teams throughout project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Experience managing ground-up construction projects is strongly preferred.
  • Background in distribution centers, warehouses, logistics facilities, manufacturing plants, or large industrial projects preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and safety programs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven approach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for project assignments on an ongoing basis.
  • Experience using Procore or similar construction management software preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Construction and Pull Planning methodologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential, adaptability, and desire for continued professional growth.
