Job Description

  • Provide on-site supervision and leadership for commercial construction and renovation projects across multiple geographic regions.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, identifying risks and implementing solutions to prevent delays.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety programs, promoting a proactive safety culture on every project.
  • Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, workforce planning, and subcontractor sequencing.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to ensure proper execution in the field.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, property managers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead progress meetings and communicate schedule updates, site challenges, and project milestones.
  • Track and document daily activities, field reports, inspections, change orders, and project progress.
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly while minimizing impacts to budget, schedule, and client operations.
  • Support project closeout activities, punch list completion, turnover documentation, and client satisfaction initiatives.
  • Travel extensively to support projects nationwide and maintain a strong field presence throughout construction activities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and facility upgrade projects. They are a proactive leader who excels in fast-paced environments, communicates effectively with project stakeholders, and consistently delivers high-quality results.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
  • Experience managing retail, office, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
  • Demonstrated success managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and digital reporting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with project teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively based on project assignments.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet travel requirements.
