Job Description

Reporting to senior construction leadership, the Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will play a critical role in coordinating stakeholders, managing schedules, and driving successful project delivery.

  • Manage all day-to-day construction operations on commercial projects
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents
  • Coordinate communication between owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
  • Lead site teams while promoting a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused culture
  • Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and implement proactive solutions
  • Utilize construction technology platforms and project management software to maintain project controls and reporting

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent - Commercial Construction we are seeking:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction Superintendent experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and best practices
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Experience managing relationships between owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related construction software
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills preferred
  • Construction Management or related degree preferred
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to multitask and think creatively to solve challenges
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments where required
