Job Description

Reporting to senior VDC leadership, the VDC Manager will serve as the on-site subject matter expert for digital construction technologies and modelling coordination.

  • Lead implementation and adoption of VDC technologies across a major mission-critical construction project
  • Manage BIM, coordination, logistics, and as-built models throughout the project lifecycle
  • Utilise drones, laser scanning, robotics, LiDAR, and reality capture technologies to improve project delivery and accuracy
  • Coordinate stakeholders across preconstruction, design, field operations, and trade partners to streamline workflows
  • Drive model quality assurance processes and conduct regular field-to-model verification reviews
  • Support software implementation, innovation initiatives, training programmes, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Present VDC capabilities to clients, project teams, and industry stakeholders while mentoring junior team members

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum five years of construction, architectural, manufacturing, or related industry experience
  • At least two years of VDC, BIM, or digital construction leadership experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, or data centre projects preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows
  • Familiarity with SketchUp, Fuzor, InfraWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, scheduling platforms, and related construction technologies
  • Experience with drone operations, LiDAR scanning, reality capture, and emerging construction technologies highly desirable
  • FAA Part 107 certification and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 credentials preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive innovation, and influence project outcomes
