Job Description

Reporting to executive leadership, the Vice President, Asset Management will oversee a portfolio of income-producing assets and work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party operators to maximize value creation and operational performance.

  • Lead the development and execution of property business plans, annual budgets, and capital investment strategies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance revenue, improve operational efficiency, and increase asset value.
  • Evaluate leasing strategies, capital projects, repositioning initiatives, and value-add opportunities.
  • Partner with finance and investment teams on refinancing opportunities, debt strategy, and disposition analysis.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, financial reviews, and variance reporting across the portfolio.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop asset management professionals while promoting a high-performance culture

The Successful Applicant

For the Vice President, Asset Management we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional industry designation preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive asset management experience within commercial real estate or diversified property portfolios.
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
