Vice President, Information Technology InfrastructureLead Enterprise Infrastructure for a Global Banking InstitutionA leading global bank is seeking an experienced Vice President, Information Technology Infrastructure to lead the management, governance, and optimization of critical technology infrastructure across the organization. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for ensuring operational resilience, scalability, regulatory compliance, and the successful delivery of strategic infrastructure initiatives.The successful candidate will oversee infrastructure operations, data centers, vendor management, asset governance, and key technology projects while partnering closely with senior business and technology stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Operations & Performance

  • Lead capacity planning, performance monitoring, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure enterprise platforms remain resilient, scalable, and highly available to support business growth.
  • Drive operational excellence across critical technology services.



Data Center Management

  • Oversee on-premise and co-location data center operations.
  • Ensure disaster recovery readiness, operational resilience, and business continuity standards are maintained.
  • Support infrastructure modernization and availability initiatives.



Vendor & Third-Party Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, managed service providers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, service level management, and vendor performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with third-party risk management and governance requirements.



Project & Resource Leadership

  • Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Effectively manage internal teams and external resources to achieve key business objectives.



Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain oversight of configuration management, asset management, inventory control, and software licensing programs.
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure infrastructure operations align with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure teams, consultants, contractors, or managed service providers.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Strong background in enterprise infrastructure and data center operations.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts, third-party relationships, and technology governance frameworks.
  • Experience working within financial services or another highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, audit requirements, and risk management principles.
