Job Description

  • Lead and execute internal audits for asset management operations and related processes.
  • Identify risks and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and procedures.
  • Develop and implement audit plans and strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified risks and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide insights on financial and operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging risks to ensure strong audit practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP Asset Management Audit should have:

  • Strong knowledge of asset management processes and financial services regulations.
  • Experience with internal audit practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate audit findings effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using audit tools and financial systems.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFA are a plus.
