Job Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to drive growth, market expansion, and long-term success of the Life Sciences division
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new life sciences project opportunities across targeted markets
  • Provide executive leadership for the Life Sciences division, setting vision, strategy, and growth priorities
  • Build and lead a high-performing team across business development, preconstruction, and operations
  • Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with architects, engineers, and key design-build collaborators
  • Oversee pursuit strategy and go/no-go decisions, ensuring alignment with risk, margin, and client fit
  • Partner with preconstruction to shape design-build solutions, budgets, and value engineering strategies
  • Drive market positioning and branding within the life sciences sector (cGMP, lab, pharma, biotech, etc.)
  • Ensure successful project handoff and execution alignment from pursuit through delivery
  • Monitor market trends, pipeline health, and competitive landscape to inform strategy
  • Champion client experience and long-term relationship development at the executive level
  • Maintain accountability for revenue growth, backlog development, and profitability within the division

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years related experience
  • Must have Life Science / Pharmaceutical construction project expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of the design-build process
  • 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study preferred
  • Advanced level degree preferred but not required
  • Proven track record leading successful teams of 5+ direct reports
  • Proven success driving business development and a results-driven mindset
  • Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships



Candidate must be comfortable with out of town travel as required.
