Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day field activities across utility construction projects
  • Supervising crews and subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality standards
  • Overseeing installation of water mains, sewer mains, taps, manholes, and pump stations
  • Coordinating logistics, materials, and equipment across multiple active job sites
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
  • Communicating with project managers and stakeholders on progress and challenges
  • Maintaining accurate site documentation and reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in utility construction
  • Strong background in wet utilities (water/wastewater systems)
  • Ability to travel across the Beltsville, MD project footprint (approx. 1-hour radius)
  • Comfortable managing multiple crews and fast-paced field operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
