I'm partnered with a privately held industrial metals company supporting large-scale commercial construction and infrastructure projects across the U.S. As the company continues to grow, they have added a newly created Senior Accountant position to join the team near their office in Des Plaines, IL. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will support the accounting and finance functions within the organization. This individual will support the financial accounting and reporting functions for a privately held industrial organization. Responsibilities include overseeing billing activities and processing project-related change orders, assisting with financial forecasting and projections, maintaining and updating general ledger activity across multiple accounts, and supporting the month-end close process along with the overall financial reporting cycle.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple public construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary liaison between owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal project teams. You will be responsible for driving project success while ensuring compliance with public procurement requirements, contractual obligations, and schedule milestones.
