This role provides full P&L leadership for an independent, market-focused manufacturing operation, with oversight of Manufacturing, Engineering, Inside Sales, and Supply Chain. The position also partners closely with corporate teams across HR and Finance to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.As a key member of the senior leadership team, this individual will help define and execute the company's strategic direction, drive overall business performance, and align cross-functional teams around operational priorities. The role is also responsible for establishing performance objectives, monitoring business results, and effectively communicating key outcomes, opportunities, and future plans to internal and external stakeholders.
The Plant Director will lead the site and the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of quality, quantity, safety and lead time. The role will include primary responsibility for all local operations and staff, production plans, engineering and maintenance programs, safety programs and shipping/receiving logistics for a site with a staff of approximately 100 full-time employees.
The Director of Manufacturing and Operations will lead 5 production sites across the United States and be responsible for the overall operations of driving overall financial performance, operational excellence, continuous improvement, production, safety, quality, on time delivery and building a manufacturing structure and organization.
