This role will play a key part in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and support for internal controls and compliance initiatives.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that offers exposure to multiple business units and international operations.Job DescriptionPrepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.Assist with preparation of internal and external financial reporting packages.Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances.Participate in annual audits and collaborate with external auditors.Support compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.Assist with cash flow reporting and various treasury-related activities.Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis projects.Partner with operations, supply chain, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
