The position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance while developing expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational accounting.

Job Description

  • Support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Process customer billings and ensure accurate application of incoming payments
  • Review outstanding customer balances and collaborate with internal stakeholders on resolution efforts
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and supporting schedules
  • Analyze financial data and provide reporting that supports management decision-making
  • Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities
  • Maintain documentation supporting key accounting transactions and controls
  • Assist with audit requests and compliance-related initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency
  • Partner with operations, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure financial accuracy

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience working with financial systems and ERP platforms is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate findings effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments is beneficial
