The ideal candidate is a growing accounting professional with exposure to general accounting tasks, such as journal entries, month end close, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and accruals, The team is looking to bring someone in that is ready to take a step up in their career and partner directly with the Controller and CFO. Job DescriptionAccounting Analyst Responsibilities:Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial data and prepare reports for managementAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisMaintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentationSupport internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiativesCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial dataApply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accountsGenerate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on timeMonitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balancesResearch and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputesSupport credit memo processing and customer account maintenanceOther duties as assignedMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
