The Modeling Manager/LIHTC Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial modeling and analysis, working closely with originators, asset managers and key leadership within their LIHTC real estate department.

Job Description

  • A heavy bias working between departments to oversee and advise on LIHTC related matters working with key leadership nationally and presenting a huge growth opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support property-related initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making linked to LIHTC and working closely with legal departments, asset management, acquisitions and key leaders within the business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of financial models with company objectives.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Monitor and forecast financial performance to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all financial analyses.
  • Assist in evaluating potential investments and property acquisitions.
  • Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Modeling Manager should have:

  • A strong, hands-on background working within LIHTC affordable housing ideally having worked for a bank, non-profit, syndicator or real estate developer.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex data effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
