Job Description

The Asset Management Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance and play a critical role in supporting the financial and operational performance of a commercial real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will partner with internal stakeholders, third-party property managers, and leasing teams to maximise asset value and support strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate asset performance and investment opportunities.
  • Analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial statements, providing commentary on key variances and trends.
  • Monitor property performance metrics including Net Operating Income (NOI), occupancy, leasing activity, debt service coverage, and capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes across the portfolio.
  • Partner with third-party property management teams to review operating performance, budgets, and compliance with business plans.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, investment analyses, valuations, and hold/sell recommendations.
  • Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing initiatives, investor reporting, and special projects.

The Successful Applicant

For the Asset Management Analyst we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, real estate accounting, or a related field.
  • Commercial real estate experience preferred, including exposure to retail, office, industrial, or mixed-use assets.
  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience analysing property-level operating performance, budgets, and capital projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with third-party property managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
