Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with the successful execution of multimillion-dollar construction projects
  • Assist with project documentation, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and procurement activities
  • Monitor project progress and help ensure milestones, budgets, and quality expectations are achieved
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate project records
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence
  • Collaborate with field teams to address project challenges and maintain construction schedules
  • Track project costs and assist with forecasting and reporting functions
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client expectations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of construction industry experience
  • Experience supporting commercial construction projects, preferably with budgets in the multimillion-dollar range
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
  • Field experience or direct exposure to jobsite operations is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications is a plus
