Job Description

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project leadership in the execution of a hyperscale data centre fit-out project.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, material tracking, and project documentation.
  • Assist with project scheduling, milestone tracking, and closeout activities.
  • Participate in owner, architect, and contractor meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Manage subcontractor communications, onboarding requirements, and contract administration.
  • Assist in procurement efforts including bid solicitation, scope development, and proposal support.
  • Monitor project financial performance, forecasts, change orders, accounts payable, and billing.
  • Maintain project documentation within Procore and other project management platforms.
  • Support site safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and help expand the firm's presence within the data centre market.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting commercial construction projects as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Associate Project Manager.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Experience with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and subcontractors.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client service.
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR certification if not already held
