Job Description

The Associate, Asset Management will report into the Asset Management leadership team and play a key role in optimising portfolio performance through financial analysis, business planning, and operational strategy. You will work closely with investment, operations, finance, and corporate teams to identify opportunities that enhance asset value and drive long-term growth.

  • Support asset-level business plans and monitor performance against strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, capital plans, and asset management strategies
  • Identify and implement revenue growth initiatives and operational efficiencies to improve net operating income
  • Analyse property financial statements, budgets, and reporting packages to ensure accuracy and performance tracking
  • Prepare quarterly and annual investment reporting for senior stakeholders and ownership groups
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and economic trend reviews to support portfolio strategy
  • Assist with acquisition due diligence, disposition activities, refinancing initiatives, and capital planning projects

The Successful Applicant

For the Associate, Asset Management we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience within asset management, real estate finance, investments, acquisitions, or portfolio analysis
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and valuation capabilities
  • Experience analysing operating performance, cash flows, and investment returns
  • Understanding of commercial real estate operations and financial reporting
  • Ability to interpret market data, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to support business decisions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency preparing presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
