Job Description



Key Responsibilities

The Director of Asset Management will report into senior leadership and be responsible for the strategic performance of a diverse real estate portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial outcomes, operational improvements, and long-term value creation.

  • Lead the execution of asset-level business plans to maximize net operating income and asset value
  • Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the portfolio
  • Identify and implement value-add initiatives, operational efficiencies, and revenue-enhancing strategies
  • Produce and present regular performance reports to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with investments, leasing, finance, and market research teams
  • Support acquisitions and dispositions through due diligence, underwriting assumptions, and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and joint venture partners

The Successful Applicant

For the Director of Asset Management, we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in asset management within residential or commercial real estate
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and investment analysis
  • Proven ability to drive NOI growth and execute value-add strategies
  • Experience working with institutional or private equity investors preferred
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, leasing trends, and competitive positioning
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; familiarity with reporting systems and data tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
