Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects.
  • Supporting Project Managers with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Collaborating with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Monitoring project progress, tracking key milestones, and helping resolve issues proactively.
  • Maintaining project documentation, contracts, reports, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contributing to projects ranging from $50M to $200M+ within multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, hospitality, life science, and office sectors.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience working for a General Contractor.
  • Proven involvement in construction projects valued at $60M or greater.
  • Background within multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, or similar commercial construction sectors.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Experience supporting complex construction projects from preconstruction through completion is preferred.
