Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will report to a Senior Project Manager and support the successful delivery of ground-up cold storage and light industrial construction projects.

  • Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Support subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
  • Monitor project schedules and assist with milestone tracking.
  • Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation.
  • Collaborate with field teams to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5 years of construction experience with a general contractor or design-build firm.
  • Exposure to commercial, industrial, distribution, warehouse, or cold storage construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and project controls.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
