This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization that offers the resources of a larger contractor while maintaining a close knit and supportive culture.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Projects - D.C. will be responsible for:Assisting Project Managers with the planning and administration of construction projects.Supporting project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking activities.Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.Reviewing contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Preparing and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reports.Monitoring project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.Assisting with procurement and material tracking.Participating in project meetings and maintain accurate records.Ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements.Supporting closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
