Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Managers throughout all project phases
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
  • Coordinating architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Assisting with procurement and contract administration
  • Tracking project schedules and milestone completion
  • Maintaining project documentation and reports
  • Participating in client and project team meetings
  • Supporting field teams with project coordination
  • Assisting with quality control and project closeout activities
  • Monitoring project progress and helping resolve issues
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of construction experience in project management, project engineering, or coordination
  • Experience with luxury residential renovations
  • Exposure to penthouses, townhouses, brownstones, or custom homes
  • Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
  • Strong understanding of high-end finishes and interior construction
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
