Job Description

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on construction sites.
  • Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Support the team in resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of construction experience in the general contracting space
  • A strong understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
