Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - White Plains, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of project delivery
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
  • Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, architects, and engineers
  • Assisting with procurement and contract administration
  • Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
  • Utilizing Procore for project management, documentation, and reporting
  • Performing drawing reviews, takeoffs, and markups using Bluebeam
  • Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings using AutoCAD
  • Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
  • Participating in project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
  • Tracking project progress and assisting with issue resolution
  • Supporting project closeout and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
  • Experience working on ground-up multifamily, luxury multifamily, or mixed-use construction projects
  • Strong proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD (required)
  • Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with project schedules and construction documentation
  • Wood-frame / stick-frame construction experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Desire to advance into a Project Manager role
