Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Data Center - Charlotte will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Assisting with managing project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and project schedules.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and field teams to maintaining project progress and communication.
  • Monitoring project budgets, costs, and procurement activities while supporting overall project controls.
  • Contributing to project meetings, reporting, and problem-solving efforts throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Supporting delivery of major projects including data centers, educational facilities, and other complex commercial developments.
  • Assisting with ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget expectations.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Project Manager - Data Center - Charlotte will have:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar construction management role.
  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • The ability to thrive within large project teams and fast-paced project environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data center construction experience as a significant advantage.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
