The Assistant Project Manager will support construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role involves collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Car allowance 500 MO, Bonus 10-20K range

My client is a privately held, Class A licensed general contractor that works on technically complex, high‑profile interior projects located in Herndon, VA.

Job Description

  • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and contracts.
  • Conduct site visits to track progress and address any on-site issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in resolving project challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather requirements.
