Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Government + Secure Projects - D.C. will be responsible for:

  • Supporting overall coordination and execution of project activities in collaboration with senior project leadership
  • Assisting in managing and developing team members to enhance performance and professional growth
  • Helping maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Provideing support in administering contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Assisting in developing, updating, and communicating project schedules
  • Contributing to budget tracking, cost management, and financial reporting processes
  • Reviewing and help interpret project reports to monitor alignment with budget and timeline expectations
  • Supporting quality assurance and quality control efforts across project activities
  • Assisting in identifying potential risks and contribute to mitigation planning, negotiations, and decision-making processes

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Government + Secure Projects - D.C. should have:

  • 2+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
  • Experience working on SCIF, corporate interiors or federal projects (preferred)
  • Exposure to project financials, budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
