Job Description

* Assist with managing ground-up retail and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
* Support budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
* Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports to keep projects on track.
* Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, field teams, and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle.
* Participate in site visits, project meetings, safety initiatives, and quality control efforts.

The Successful Applicant

* 3-5 years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role.
* Experience supporting ground-up commercial, retail, education, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
* Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
* Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software.
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a desire to advance into project management.
