This Assistant Project Manager will directly support a Project Manager while taking ownership of critical project functions including document control, subcontractor coordination, and financial tracking. The role is designed for someone ready to step up, lead portions of projects, and grow into a Project Manager within 1-2 years.

The Successful Applicant

A successfulAssistant Project Manager should have:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Senior Project Engineer or APM
  • Strong working knowledge of document control (RFIs, submittals)
  • Experience supporting project financials and understanding cost flow
  • Exposure to leading meetings such as OACs and drafting change orders
  • Proficiency with Procore is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a broader project team
  • Highly proactive with strong communication and organisational skills
  • Motivated to grow into a Project Manager role in the near term
