Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily will:

  • Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost tracking change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Help manage project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across teams.
  • Assist with procurement, submittals, RFIs, and contract administration.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of projects ranging up to $50M in value.
  • Work closely with leadership on large and complex projects throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Multifamily project experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction process, documentation, and project controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Desire to grow into a Project Manager role or continue developing as a senior-level APM.
  • Comfortable working full-time in an office-based environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
