This is a long-established general contractor that provides construction and project management services across multiple sectors. It primarily works on multifamily developments but also handles a mix of other building types, including specialized and renovation projects. It has been operating for over two decades and has built a solid track record delivering projects of varying size and complexity

Job Description

  • Assist in planning and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Track expenses and support efforts to keep the project within budget.
  • Communicate with subcontractors to ensure work meets project requirements.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including permits and reports.
  • Address on-site challenges and escalate issues when needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain project schedules, and coordinate resources across concurrent projects.
  • Experience supporting project managers in project planning, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Strong knowledge of multifamily construction methods, building codes, quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management and construction software, including scheduling, document control, reporting, contract administration, and change order management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams
  • Open to travel across Texas
