Job Description

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.
  • Track project budgets and manage resources effectively to control costs.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain project alignment.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts and reports.
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support in maintaining high-quality standards throughout project execution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Educational background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in commercial construction projects, preferably within the business services industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various project aspects.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in construction.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
