Job Description

  • Assist with managing commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Support project teams on high-end interior fit-out projects including office, healthcare, government, higher education, technology, and secure facilities.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Help oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, documentation, and project reporting.
  • Assist in managing one larger project at a time or multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
  • Support field operations and collaborate closely with project teams to maintain quality and client satisfaction.
  • Work within occupied, fast-paced, and mission-critical environments while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders.
  • The Assistant Project Manager will gain exposure to technically complex projects and specialized secure environments.
  • The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership and experienced construction professionals.
  • The Assistant Project Manager will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, project engineering, or project management.
  • Exposure to commercial construction projects, interiors, renovations, tenant improvements, healthcare, education, government, corporate office, technology, or similar environments.
  • Interested in developing expertise in complex, fast-paced construction projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communicator who can build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and teammates.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small, team-focused environment.
  • Experience supporting project schedules, budgets, documentation, purchasing, or field coordination is a plus.
  • Motivated by working closely with leadership and gaining exposure to all aspects of project delivery.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing for project badging and site access.

What's on Offer

  • Base salary: $70,000-$110,000+ depending on experience
  • Annual bonus potential: $10,000-$20,000
