Committed to elevating the standard of affordable housing, the firm prioritizes thoughtful design, high-quality construction, modern technology, and vibrant community-focused amenities that enhance residents' quality of life.Job Description Assistant Project ManagerAssist Project Managers in managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.Coordinate project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.Maintain project schedules and help track key milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.Support procurement efforts and subcontractor buyout processes.Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost reports, and monthly financial forecasts.Construction ManagementMonitor project progress and support field operations to ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate with Superintendents and subcontractors to resolve construction issues and prevent schedule delays.Participate in site inspections and safety meetings.Track punch list items and assist with project closeout activities.Affordable Housing ComplianceAssist in maintaining compliance with affordable housing program requirements, funding agreements, and regulatory obligations.Coordinate documentation required by agencies such as:NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD)New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC)New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR)HUD and other federal funding agenciesTrack MWBE participation, prevailing wage requirements, Section 3 compliance, labor reporting, and other project-specific regulatory requirements.Support agency inspections, audits, and reporting processes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
