Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of construction projects.
  • Assistant Project Managers will coordinate project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Track project budgets, commitments, and cost reporting.
  • Support scheduling activities and monitor project milestones.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
  • Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination.
  • Monitor project compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of construction project coordination or project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and team-focused approach.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites as needed.
